Comedian: Enemy Vol. 1 - Limited Time Full Free Preview
Mean. Vicious. Excessive... Always! In its entirety, read "Comedian: Enemy Vol. 1", the long awaited remake to Ross Zucco's prophetic Graphic novel "Comedian".
The entire 48- page comic is available if you scroll down past this synopsis and preamble, best viewed on a desktop:
Diane Moore, a brutally mean Comedian who longs to uphold the style of humor forged by traditional, accurate old bastards, faces a soft, neutered comedy industry. One merciless in its contempt for anything remotely insulting or honest. Unable, or rather, disgusted and unwilling to exist within it and with options crumbling by the hour, Diane's lone shot at bringing it all back depends on one unlikely live TV appearance. Once more, the stage is waiting, Diane... become an enemy.
"Comedian: Enemy Vol. 1", The long awaited remake of Artist and Writer Ross Zucco's prophetic 2012 graphic novel "Comedian", presents rich, opulent artwork and truly remorseless dialogue in a manner that only a decade of experience can provide, while embodying and surpassing the "Mean, Vicious and Excessive" spirit of the original.
FAQ Time! Hey, Ross! Why a free preview? Are you fuckin' stupid?!:
Yes, I am... moreover, in late 2012 a free preview of the original version of Comedian was made available on the long defunct Graphicly platform, the sole answer to the recently defunct Comixology, which hosted Comedian's 2013 retail edition for eight years and roughly 50 to 100 purchases! Against better judgement, I am going to stick to that tradition with a free preview of the remake, "Comedian: Enemy Vol. 1".
Also, no one knows my work despite, at this point, its obvious, staggering and delicate quality. If it gets any traction during this extended era of phony outrage that the original was too early to capitalize on and due to the nature of the work, it's bound to piss someone off and I can cynically grow an audience around that. Plus, every news headline and online controversy is cannibalizing each line of dialogue by the day. If anything, this is likely the first step in me putting aside my comic goals and going to community college.
All insecure bullshit aside, I fuckin' love this thing and I hope you see what I'm going for here. Opie and Anthony show for Life! Tough Crowd Rules!!
Thanks, Ross
P.S. If you're morbidly curious, here's the current resting place of the original Comedian on Amazon in both a 2021 revised digital edition and the 2013 print version: LINK

If you made it here after reading it all, bless you. I suggest taking a nice walk, getting some fresh air, then letting people know about Comedian… or you can go back to netflix.
Keep watch for the eventual print campaign and other comics I have in the works!
Thanks!
